This mallet has great alignment characteristics with its long topline and T-shaped main body. Rear weighting enhances performance on miss-hits and the circular outer ring places as much weight as possible around the edges of the putter to enhance M.O.I. Tad notes, “This aluminum head has a very solid, yet soft feel at impact.” This design has won several amateur events, and has done well in others as a prototype, validating the design.
The “traditional” looking putter with Tad’s added flair. “I have made many versions of the original but in this case I changed the hosel and the face to improve the shape and performance.” The TM01 features Tad’s patented 45° Plumber’s Neck hosel to give the player an improved view at address. This helps the player see the top line and face to aid with alignment. Tad’s favorite milling is called “washboard” milling and it is featured throughout the Signature Series.
This is a new version of an established wide-sole blade putter. Tad states,“This design incorporates a thin top line with heavy bumpers to provide a great look and exceptional feel.” Tad engineered a unique “Sound Slot” which cuts through the sole. This dampens vibrations for a more desirable sound at impact, while greatly improving the feel of the putter. The slot also combines with the alignment line to aid in squaring the face to the ball.
The classic design of a wide soled, heel shafted blade with “Washboard Face” milling. Strategic weighting enhances the player’s stroke. This heel shafted putter is perfect for the player who putts with a slight arc. Tad explains, “This shape was the obvious progression for a semi-mallet. I really like this design because it is bigger, more stable and has a very clean transition from shaft to neck to head.”
